The Nissan LEAF Can Intervene on Behalf of Drivers

Many modern drivers have been calling for vehicles that are low emission and high-tech. The good news is, the experts at Nissan have responded to these calls with their specialized LEAF electronic vehicle. The Nissan LEAF is completely emission-free and also includes many high-tech tools that work to improve driver awareness as well as overall safety. Some of these hard-to-find but desirable tools include the Intelligent Lane Intervention system as well as the Nissan Automatic Emergency Braking service.

While most drivers are capable of keeping their vehicles under control, during long trips drivers may sometimes drift in and out of their assigned driving lanes. Such situations can lead to unintended collisions, but the Nissan LEAF helps to preclude this possibility by introducing the Intelligent Lane Intervention system. This proprietary technology utilizes a number of sensors to read lane markings and then uses this information to keep the vehicle within its assigned lanes.

In addition to helping drivers maintain their lanes, the Nissan LEAF can also put the brakes on if things get out of hand. The Nissan Automatic Emergency Braking service works hard even when the overall cruise control system is off-line. The Automatic Emergency Braking system keeps a close eye on vehicle speed as well as overall proximity. If and when the Nissan LEAF gets too close to other cars, this service can use the brakes to reestablish safe inter-vehicular distances.
